Market Unbound: Unleashing Global Capitalism
Published in Hardcover by John Wiley & Sons (29 March, 1996)
Authors: Lowell Bryan and Diana Farrell
Average review score:

Markets Unbound- Too optimistic
This book makes some interesting points and is well written. I feel that the authors are too optimistic about the affects of globalization on the world economy. Issues like disparity in income and ravaging affects on the middle class are not given the attention they should. I would also have liked to see more opinions on what world governments could do to alleviate the sweeping changes the world markets are making. Still, the book is worth reading for anyone interested in the affects of globalization.

Match Racing: How to Get in Front and Stay in Front

Authors: Bryan Willis and John Doerr

Match Racing : How to Get in Front and Stay in Front
This is a great in-depth look at match racing. An essential for any sailor interested in match racing. The only problem is that it is based on the 1993-1996 racing rules. Hopefully, Willis can be encouraged to edit this book and publish a new one based on the new rules soon.

New Best of James Taylor for Guitar
Published in Paperback by Warner Brothers Publications (December, 1997)
Author: Colgan Bryan
Average review score:

Wonderful for a Fan.
I just adore sheet music and no sheet music is complete without a title from a favorite artist is it? I gave this gift lovingly to my mother, who really enjoys his music. There is something very powerful in his lyrics and music. The lyrics transcend generations. When Taylor says in "Fire and Rain," "I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end," we don't know if he was overjoyed at the warmth of the day or if he was mad at the world and he didn't want it to be a happy place. Either way, it's brilliant. Don't take my word. See for yourself.

Panzerkampfwagen III Medium Tank 1936-1944 (New Vanguard Series , No 27)
Published in Paperback by Osprey Pub Co (March, 1999)
Authors: Bryan Perrett and Mike Badrocke
Average review score:

One of the better books in the "New Vanguard Series"
The book can bee seen as a first read if you want to start learning specificly about the PzIII. Unfortunantley it's a few pages to thin while it gives a good desctiption of the PzIII's operational history on different fronts, the description of the vehicle itself isn't satisfactory. Usually only 1 variant of the tank is mentioned in any great detail unfortunantley these variants vary troughout the book so that it's hard to get a full picture of the PzIII.

On the plus side the book is quite easy to read and has alot of new pictures. It also describes a few not so well known facts about the PzIII and it's cutt away look at the PzIII is quite nice.

Overall description is that if youre an expert on PzIII's there are better books to buy but if you are going to buy your first book on the PzIII and don't know much about tanks this book will be quite helpful.

Photographing Oregon
Published in Paperback by Graphic Arts Center Publishing Co. (August, 1984)
Author: Bryan F. Peterson
Average review score:

Not quite Oregon specific
I am planning a trip to the Oregon coast this summer and greatly anticipated the arrival of this book. It seemed a perfect fit for my needs. My initial reaction to the book is disappointing.

The book is organized by photographic subject such as waterallfs, shorelines, valleys, sunset, etc. It gives advice o the lens selection, camera placement, and exposure for photographing each subject. At the end of each topic is a list of Oregon specific locations for photographing these subjects.

I can find plenty of books on how to photograph waterfalls or sunsets. What I was hoping for was advice on specific beaches or locations in Oregon. This book will not give you that. Look for places on the web for "Photograph America" and "Phototraveler" for location specific advice.

Pirate Ship 16601730 (New Vanguard, 70)
Published in Paperback by Osprey Pub Co (July, 2003)
Authors: Angus Konstarn and Tony Bryan

disapointing
Hardly worth obtaining. Most of the information in here can be found elsewhere. But makes a good companion for the author's book on pirates by the same publisher.

Que's Computer User's Dictionary
Published in Paperback by Que (August, 1994)
Authors: Bryan Pfaffenberger and Judy Petersen
Average review score:

Serves its purpose!
This boook/reference work in question , i.e., Que's Computer User's Dictionary by Bryan, Ph.D. Pfaffenberger is a new edition of a handy and quite practical dictionary of computer terms and other computer related items. It, the book, even manages to incorporate some helpfull tips and cautions for computer users, as well as pronunciation guide/aid where needed. Useful for both the novice and seasoned user and is a nice addition to any computer users library. The reason why I did not give it a higher mark, was because of its dated material. Even so, I consider it to be an adequate reference tool.

Sects and Society
Published in Hardcover by Greenwood Press Reprint (August, 1978)
Author: Bryan R. Wilson
Average review score:

Well known history of smaller denominations in UK
The three churches covered are 1. Christian Science, 2. Elim Pentecostal, 3. Christadelphian. The book is based on Wilson's PhD researches at Leicester University in the 1960s and as such is a little out of date. While more up to date information on Christian Science and Elim Pentecostal can be found on Amazon.com, more information on Christadelphians can better be found on Amazon.co.uk.

Superguides: Snowboarding
Published in Hardcover by DK Publishing (01 August, 2000)
Authors: Steve Davis, Bryan Iguchi, and Bryan Iguchi
Average review score:

Review, but very interesting
Anyone that is a beginer, or just wants to know how to snowboard, should read this book. It informs you on how to snowboard on a basic level. Some of the things it teaches you is carving, falling the correct way, ollieing, and tricks. This book also gives information in different types of snowboarding, such as slalom racing, boardercross, hafl pipe, and dryslope competition.

For me, being a snowboarder for three years, going on four, I only give the book three stars, because I already know most of the information the author is trying to give you. For me, this was like a review type book, but i still thought that it was interesting.
